Primethorpe Paving
All our products are ethically sourced and unlike other paving suppliers who risk purchasing form opening auction we only purchase direct from quarries. On average, our yard contains over 15,000m2 of stock at any one time. Within our stock we have a range of 20 different colours with either Sawn, Hand-dressed or Tumbled edges in either 22mm calibrated thickness or 25mm-35mm natural thickness.

Size - notable being irregular sizes for example 56cm x 84cm, 56cm x28cm these have no common multiple and therefore will be very difficult to create a pattern and will result in a lot of cutting, they are known as 56 series. Colours - With the stone being natural, colour variation will be present however poor quality paving will have very extreme colour difference like dark slabs in with light mint colours.

On the other hand, there may hardly any colour difference within the slabs - for example just a single shade of brown within the autumn brown range.

Paving
Report
Here at Primethorpe Paving we have a wide variety of paving options for you to chose from.
Limestone Paving - Unlike the soft, British lime that most people are familiar with, this stone is really hard and durable.
It is a great choice for someone looking for uniformity in their outdoor space.
All our limestone ranges are consistent in colour and naturally smooth on the surface.
The soft tones of limestone are easy on the eye and get better with age as they mellow into their surrounding.
Sandstone Paving - This is an incredibly popular choice of paving and it's easy to see why.
Limestone
Report
Limestone has maintained it's position as a premium stone over the years, increasing tremendously in popularity since the turn of the decade.
The delicate colour palettes of limestone mean that a patio area is easy on the eye whilst still adding a splash of colour.
It is a very good stone to work with.
It cuts easily, is resilient to damages and as a result is an installers dream.
If you have awkward space to work with, or want to work with a material that cuts in beautiful straight lines - then limestone is the best choice.
Slate
Report
Primethorpe slate is available in an array of colours and textures.
We import only the best quality slate from around the world, so you can rest assured that the quality is top of the tree.
It's a premium quality stone and stands up to the test of the British elements - it maintains it's colours and sheen for years, which some other, lower quality paving may fall foul to.
These paving slabs have beautiful laminate texture and a silky smooth feel.
It is a traditionally easy to work stone, making it highly useful in many construction projects and situations, from roofing & walling to garden paths, driveways, patios, steps and edges.
Cobbles
Report
We have a whole host of options whether you are looking for and edging to finish off your patio, or whether you are cobbling a whole area like a driveway.
Cobbles are versatile and incredibly popular.
Whilst not essential, a patio can often look unfinished without an edging and a cobbled border is an incredibly popular technique.
The cobbles are between 30mm-50mm thick and are all incredibly hard-wearing - truly worth the investment.
